BOLTON boss Owen Coyle insists he does not need to sell Gary Cahill to raise transfer funds.
Centre-back Cahill, 24, is being monitored by a number of clubs after forcing his way into Fabio Capello's England squad.
But Coyle is determined not to begin his reign at the Reebok by cashing in on the club's biggest asset.
The new Trotters manager said: "I don't have to sell anyone to generate a transfer budget.
"I believe that Gary, if he shows the qualities he has, can make the squad for the World Cup.
"That's personal motivation for him. He is a top player and hopefully we will see him at his very best."
